Very clean teeth, gums, and appliances (braces . . . ) is of the utmost importance! In order to accomplish that, you must see your Hygienist, and brush your teeth as recommended. It's important that you brush your teeth after every meal/snack. You should use the tooth brush recommended by your Orthodontist. Procedures for brushing are as follows:

  1. Next, rinse your mouth and look at your teeth. If they don't look clean brush again!

Flossing

  1. Floss around each tooth (carefully).
Note: A floss threader may be helpful.
